This course is designed for facility and site supervisors who must also serve as the competent person required by EM385-1-1 Army Corp of Engineers requirements. The training provides detailed coverage of fall prevention and protection, roles of the worker, building a fall protection system, pre-use and component person inspection, and recognizing evaluating and controlling the risks or hazards. As requested by the USACE this course covers Section 1, 21, & 24 in the EM 385.1 manual.
